French Open 2017: I had things pretty much under control, says Rafael Nadal

Pursuing his tenth French Open title, 'Lord of Clay' Rafael Nadal raged into the third round with an agreeable 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 triumph over Netherlands' Robin Haase on Wednesday. Nadal, whose next test will be against Nikoloz Basilashvili of Georgia, trusts things are essentially under control. 

"I think I played a decent match. I think I did a ton of things well this evening," the Spaniard offered, practically as a question, when gotten some information about his frame in whipping the Dutchman. 

"I felt I had things practically under control, that I could alter the course the ball went in.
