Cristiano Ronaldo ready to pay 14.7 million euros in Spanish tax fraud case

Genuine Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo is prepared to pay Spain's expense experts 14.7 million euros ($16.39 million) – the sum he has been blamed for duping by a prosecutor – in front of a court hearing one month from now, Spanish state TV said on Wednesday.

Supporter TVE stated, without distinguishing its sources, the 32-year-old would make this installment as a signal of positive attitude.

The report included Ronaldo will repeat at a hearing on July 31 that he is blameless and has never concealed any pay from the taxman or submitted any duty extortion in Spain.

Agents for Ronaldo declined to remark.

The Spanish prosecutor says the Real Madrid forward intentionally utilized a business structure to conceal his picture rights wage in Spain in the vicinity of 2011 and 2014. Ronaldo has denied the charges.
