PSLV to launch Cartosat-2 with 30 nano satellites on June 23: ISRO

India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle will dispatch Cartosat-2 arrangement satellite alongside 30 co-traveler satellites from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on June 23, ISRO said today. PSLV-C38 will dispatch the 712 kg Cartosat-2 arrangement satellite for earth perception and 30 co-traveler satellites together, weighing around 243 kg at lift-off, into a 505-km polar Sun Synchronous Orbit, the space organization said. 

The co-traveler satellites, include 29 Nano satellites from 14 nations – Austria, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America other than a Nano satellite from India. 

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said PSLV-C38 will be propelled from the First Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Center on June 23 at 09.29 hrs. This will be the 40th flight of PSLV and seventeenth flight of PSLV in "XL" setup (with the utilization of strong strap-on engines). 

The space office likewise said the 29 worldwide client Nano satellites are being propelled as a major aspect of the business courses of action between Antrix Corporation Limited (Antrix), business arm of ISRO and International clients.
