Discussing his part, Siddhanth Kapoor said in a meeting, "One of the primary reasons why I chose to do Haseena was that I got the chance to play somebody whose life has been everywhere throughout the media. I see it from an on-screen character's perspective. Performing artists like Rishi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi have played this character (before) along these lines, I needed to play it in an unexpected way.
