Stop India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy match, say family of mutilated BSF jawan

Relatives of the BSF Head Constable Prem Sagar who was slaughtered and his body was mutiliated by Pakistani powers have engaged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop the Indian cricket group from playing Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy. The match is India's first this year in the competition and is booked to happen on June 4 in England.

"We claim to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BCCI to guarantee that India does not play Pakistan," Ishwar Chandra, child of the BSF jawan is cited as saying by PTI, "We are contradicting the cricket coordinate amongst India and Pakistan in the Champions Trophy. The administration must comprehend the agony of the wronged group of the saint. India ought not play the match with Pakistan in the Champions Trophy and ought not have any association with that nation."

The decapitation of Naib Subedar Paramjit Singh and BSF Head Constable Sagar by Pakistani powers in the Poonch segment of Jammu and Kashmir in May 2017 had started broad shock crosswise over India.

While two-sided cricketing ties between the two nations have been suspended for all methods and purposes, Sports Minister Vijay Goel had said that the administration won't have a say in India playing Pakistan in a multilateral competition abroad, for example, the ICC Champions Trophy.
