Ben Affleck's Batman film will be an enthusiastic story : Matt Reeves

Chief Matt Reeves says his Batman motion picture will be enthusiastic, grown-up and aspiring. Reeves is going up against the hero independent motion picture for DC after Ben Affleck withdrawn from the executive's seat. In a meeting with Digital Spy, Reeves, who is preparing for his up and coming directorial War for the Planet of the Apes, talks about his vision for the Batman film.

"(The studio) came to me and stated, 'Would you be intrigued?' That's sort of like what occurred here with Apes, they stated, 'Would you be intrigued?' and I resembled, 'Well, I would be intrigued however for me I need to locate an individual path in,'" he clarified how he went ahead board.

"It gives you the opportunity to sneak into a film that is generally great summer amusement… There's a hopelessness to it, there's a reality to it, there's a roundedness to it. We're holding a mirror up to ourselves, we're taking a gander at ourselves in these chimps' countenances and I feel a similar potential in Batman."

Drawing correlations between the Dark Knight and Caesar, the lead character in the Planet of the Apes reboot set of three, Reeves says, "As Caesar is a piece of the Apes establishment, the Apes establishment was an enormous piece of my youth, and Batman was a colossal piece of my adolescence as well, yet strangely them two have the capability of talking not down to a group of people but rather being aggressive.

"I think the thing that I'm amped up for is attempting to tell an extremely perspective driven, passionate story from that point of view similarly that I attempted to do with Caesar. I believe there's an approach to recount his story that could be extremely enthusiastic."
