John Kristick, a managing director of the failed U.S. bid to host the 2022 World Cup

John Kristick, an overseeing executive of the fizzled U.S. offer to have the 2022 World Cup and a previous official of FIFA advertising accomplice Infront Sports and Media, has been contracted as official executive for the United Bid Committee of the U.S., Mexico and Canada to have the 2026 competition. 

Kristik was official chief at Infront, where he worked from 2001-08, at that point was overseeing executive of offer arranging and operations for the USA Bid Committee from 2009-11. He has worked as of late for ESP Properties, a consultative organization. 

Jim Brown was contracted as the United Bid Committee's overseeing chief of specialized operations, the U.S. Soccer Federation said Thursday. Canada Soccer General Secretary Peter Montopoli has been named Canada offer chief and Televisa VP Yon De Luisa as Mexico offer executive. 

The UBC's 10-part load up incorporates CONCACAF President Victor Montagliani, who is from Canada, and Sunil Gulati, Don Garber, Dan Flynn, Carlos Cordeiro and Donna Shalala (U.S.); Peter Montopoli and Steven Reed (Canada); and Decio De Maria and Guillermo Cantu (Mexico). The formal offer was declared in April and is to be submitted to FIFA by March 16. The offer recommends that the extended 48-country competition have 60 recreations in the U.S., including all from the quarterfinals on, and 10 each in Mexico and Canada. FIFA is set to settle on the choice in May 2020.
