Oscar-winning writer A R Rahman is charmed that his music from the film Viceroy's House has been shortlisted for the World Soundtrack Awards, an open decision grant. "Enchanted to be shortlisted for the World Soundtrack Awards Public Choice Award for Viceroy's House," Rahman tweeted on Friday. All soundtrack and film music fans worldwide can make their own choice for what they consider the best soundtrack of the previous 12 months. The soundtrack that gets the most elevated number of votes will get the World Soundtrack Public Choice Award 2017. 

Coordinated by Gurinder Chadha, a British movie producer of Sikh starting point, Viceroy's House likewise stars Huma Qureshi, Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville, Gillian Anderson and late performer Om Puri. The film will discharge as Partition: 1947 in India on August 18. Emissary House depends on the last days of British run over India.
